I Want To Know What Love Is - Foreigner
CHOREOGRAPHED BY: SUSAN TRAINOR
Unleash your inner rock star in BODYVIVE™ 12! With music from Lou Bega, Aretha Franklin and Foreigner you’ll definitely have lots of fun while you’re working out! Strike It Up takes you off the gym floor and into the nightclub – ‘90s styles! This nice long warm up will get you into the swing of things and raise the heart rate, ready for the strong leg workout that is Track 2. Your legs are loaded by getting low through the entire track, which will ensure you work your butt and thighs. Feel stylish and sassy in Lou Bega’s Gentlemen before the intensity lifts with Hamstring Curls and Cross Crawls in Track 4. Reach your cardio peak in Track 5 with You Really Got Me – this is your chance to really rock out and show what you’ve got. Seal’s Fly Like An Eagle is perfect for Track 6 where you perform the moves with fluidity and grace – much like you’re flying like an eagle. Track 7 sees the introduction of new move the Arabesque which will really challenge your balance and helps to strengthen the legs. Get ready to use the most challenging move first in Track 8 – it’s a hard track and there’s a new position for the Bicep Curls that works both the front and the back of the bicep. There’s a super simple setup for the Hamstring Curls and Side Leg Lifts in Track 9 before a deceptively intense abdominal track – watch out! New move the Single Leg Scoop really bites. Britney’s back in the Abdominals Track. Circus will motivate you to “show what you can do” with the new Reverse Curl. But wait, there’s more! Finish it all off with a hover with your feet on the bench – it’s harder but brings more benefits... New move the Side Line Arabesque and Scissor in Track 11 is great for back flexibility, strength and total core conditioning and what better song to end the rock-release than rock anthem I Want To Know What Love Is? Rock out with BODYVIVE™ 12!
(I've Had) The Time Of My Life - Bill Medley & Jennifer Warnes
12
Diamonds & Pearls - Prince
CHOREOGRAPHED BY: SUSAN TRAINOR
BODYVIVE™ 11 uses patterns, themes and concepts throughout the release, making it easier to learn so that you
can have maximum amounts of fun! You’ll want to sing along as soon as the music starts with popular hit from Priscilla
Queen of the Desert’s Finally. Track 1 focuses on depth rather than direction and you’ll warm up in no time as you drop
lower in the Step Touch and progress the Tap Repeater to Knee Repeater. Track 2 is called Jump but do the opposite –
get low, again focusing on depth in the legs to increase the intensity. You’ll definitely be feeling it in your butt and thighs!
The theme for Track 3 is Latino and you’re dancing with Ricky Martin! Look forward to new move the Braid Step to
which you’ll add the Salsa and push that heart rate up. You’ll be working hard for your fitness in Track 4 before reaching
your cardio peak in Track 5. Billy Idol’s Mony Mony will motivate you to keep building intensity during each block of
work – it’s tough but rewarding! Your hamstrings get a well-deserved stretch in Track 6 where you’re introduced to two
new moves – the Warrior 1 and Sun Warrior. Both balance and leg-strength are worked in Track 7 – and you may be
tempted to bust out a couple of Broadway moves to New York, New York. A new setup in Track 8 means you’ll perform
the Side Raise with precision, giving you toned, strong shoulders. Sing along to Track 9 – Don’t Cha – while working
on your hips and thighs. The Pelvic Lifts in Track 10 will really target the deep abdominals and you’ll be having the time
of your life (as the song suggests) in Track 11 as you continue to work your core. New move the Sphinx is great for
core stability. Relax, release and celebrate a great workout to Prince’s Diamonds & Pearls.
What better way to celebrate 10 BODYVIVE™ releases than with a party! The release is kicked off with the fitting track Celebration by Kool & The Gang. There are no tricky moves in this track so once you’ve set up clear directions, get the party started!
There’s no stopping until the heart fitness block is over and this really gets your motor running! But the music and moves are so awesome that chances are you won’t even notice. Technotronic’s Get Up! (Before
The Night Is Over) has you moving your body with hamstring curls and squats and you’ll be twisting and singing along to the “na na nahs” in Wilson Pickett’s Land Of 1000 Dances. Before you know it you’ll have powerwalked and scoop-stepped your way through Dan Hartman’s Instant Replay.
The final intensity in the heart fitness block is built through three levels in track 5. The knee repeaters, 2-steps side and skater move will push you to your limits and you’ll feel euphoric having reached your potential.
Remember – you were born to be wild! Catch your breath in track 6 as you move into the functional strength block. Look forward to the new move – the assisted side stretch.
Squats feature once again in track 7, building leg and butt strength.
You’ll feel the burn in the intense shoulder and back workout in track 8 as you sing along to Bon Jovi’s Livin’ On A Prayer.
You only have to tie yourself up once in track 9 and there’s just one rule – and that’s to keep the tension on the VIVE™ tube at all times! Destiny’s Child will have you feeling Bootylicious and ready to take on anything! Shirley Bassey’s cover of The Beatles’ Something is the perfect way to release, restore and congratulate yourself on giving it your all in this BODYVIVE™ celebration release!

The soundtrack to this release is the best yet! Featuring hits such as Pat Benatar’s All Fired Up, Fever by Peggy Lee and Robert Palmer’s Addicted To Love, you’ll be singing all the way through this release.
The lyrics in the songs inspire the moves! Also, at your request, we have choreographed the first five tracks with no stops – to keep people moving, engaged and their heart rates up.
Again there’s a new move in Track 2 – The Wood Chop. This exercise stretches and strengthens across the core by connecting glutes to lats across the back and obliques to adductors across the front. And it feels great!
You’ll be all fired up in Track 5 which is all about levels and directions to drive you right to the end of the cardio segment before relaxing into the Eagle Pose in Track 6 – the calm after the storm!
Track 8 features upper body, biceps/triceps work that rivals BodyPump™ so watch out. But no pain, no gain! There are two new moves in Track 9 – the Side Leg Lift, which promotes strength, stability and is great for your hips, and Around The World. This targets the muscles around the leg from back to front.
The back is worked differently in Track 11 as you’re not lying down. A new move, the Kneeling Waiters Bow, also works the shoulders and back of the body beautifully.
There is an emphasis in BodyVive™ 9 on upper spine conditioning and strengthening which ties in with the setup and maintenance of GREAT POSTURE throughout the class and in daily life.
You might as well face it – you’re addicted to BodyVive™!
BODYVIVE® 8 has a great singalong, feel–good nature that everyone's going to love. The music spans four decades – hits starting in the '80s, moving through to the '90s, then into the 21st century before finishing back in the '70s. And, as always, there's a mix of fresh new moves to challenge and excite regular class members, along with variations on key moves you'll know from past releases. BODYVIVE® 8 has lots of highlights and there's none bigger than the Dance Cardio Track to the music of Irene Cara and Fame. This is where you get to become part of that vibrant, energetic, young group trying to find a ticket to stardom at the famous New York Performing Arts School. And look forward to the Balance & Leg Strength Track to George Benson's On Broadway. This is challenging because the song is longer than usual and it has a cool new move for balance called the Fondue Sequence – from fondue, meaning 'to melt'. There's a great Phil Collins track to wrap up the music and the class, which will leave everyone feeling rejuvenated, uplifted and ready for anything!

Set sail on the Love Boat with BODYVIVE™ 7! You're going to love the nautical theme that runs through most of the tracks — in the song title, the singer's name or what you might do if you were sailing on the sea! This release is full of musical memories and new moves to keep improving heart fitness, functional strength and a strong and stable core. Look forward to innovations — the Side Step & Rise in Track 2 and the Dynamic Lunge with Knee Lift in Track 4. This is great for strengthening the quadriceps and gluteal muscles as well as improving balance. The Side Lunge Shoulder Press and Standing Tricep Extension in the Functional Strength track really work the muscles of the shoulder, resulting in a strong, stable joint and whole integrated body strength. You're going to love the music! Jump with the Pointer Sisters, rock out to Smoke On The Water and groove to the smooth, sweet sounds of the All Saints' Pure Shores. Another musical highlight is Waterloo — selected due to popular request. You'll finish BODYVIVE™ 7 feeling restored, revived and buzzy!
BODYVIVE™ 6 mixes simplicity of movement and senational sounds to produce a truly benefits-based workout for everyone! There are just two to three moves in each track, so both new and seasoned participants will be able to achieve optimal results. Tai Chi inspired breathing move, the Butterfly, starts the class and is used a number of times throughout BODYVIVE™ 6. You'll see the Butterfly again in Track 6 where we use it to calm our body and mind and focus on the inward breath. There's fun to be had while doing the Loco-Motion in Track 2 which features the Double Walking Lunge - a great functional move. The Locomotion Arms will help connect your core and lift your heart rate. Line dancing to Man! I Feel Like A Woman is definitely a highlight - the simple choreography means you can really get into the track. Train both the front and back of the legs well in ZZ Top's Legs and swing those hips Latino style to J-Lo's Let's Get Loud. The Balance and Leg Strength Track is dance inspired with new moves and VIVE tubing options that mimic ballet barre work. This is great for coordination, balance and glute strength. Watch for the two new moves in the Ab Strength Track - the Roller Ball and the Pilates 8. Both these moves are extremely effective at targeting the abs. This release is finished how is was started - with the beautiful Butterfly
High Vives" for BODYVIVE 05! This release is about fitness, fun and being free to be.
Musically, it's a blast and it features creative new moves that members will love. Get your groove on in Boogie Wonderland and blow the roof off with YMCA (choreography courtesy of Les Mills - not the Village People!); then sing along to Bonnie Tyler's Holding Out For A Hero and Ben E King's Stand By Me.
Barry Manilow's Copacabana is the dance track and it's imperative all participants imagine themselves sipping pina coladas with feathers in their hair! The track finishes with a conga line so get ready to shake it!
There are two great new moves in this release: the Lying Bicep Curl and the Assisted Hover. The Lying Bicep Curl features in the first strength track and maximses the curl benefits while minimising bad form. You'll have to wait to Track 10 for the Assisted Hover which trains the deep abdominal muscles.
Think of the Back Care track as being similar to a trip to the zoo with the Down Dog, Cat Stretch, Bear Pose and Horse Stance Pointer!
The class will reap the benefits of improved heart fitness, great functional strength and a stronger core. Get ready for some fun in BODYVIVE 05.

There's a great disco feel running through the class with moves from Saturday Night Fever and The Brooklyn Hustle setting the scene.Again the music is a big crowd pleaser and the new release kicks off with If I Could Read Your Mind. This will be an instant winner with class members who will remember Gordon Lightfoot hot. Memories come flooding back again with Boogie Nights and the old school grapevine move. Everyone gets up close and personal with a partner in track four where we work on heart fitness I was Made for Loving You motivates the class to a full range of movement in the legs. BODYVIVE is getting a big 'thumbs up' from members as we continue the worldwide rollout. Especially popular is the overall feel-good nature of the classes, together with the community and interactive elements, the classic music from yesteryear and the distinctive, targeted exercise blend.
BODYVIVE 3 is now set to fuel further take-up in gyms, with some structural adjustments providing a more smoothly flowing class. Heart fitness and functional strength tracks are now grouped together, with the tai chi and yoga track setting up the transition between the two main blocks. The new class warms up with easy moves to the sound of John Paul Young's Love is in the Air and moves up a geat with VIVE ball work and the classic How Sweet It Is from James Taylor.
Members get to practice their mambos and cha cha chas' in the new dance cardio track; then step it out together for some interactive fun with the Jackson Five hit, Can You Feel It, from circa 1980. Everyone works hard with Amii Stewart's Knock On Wood - motivation's not a problem for this final heart fitness track - and there's a real good feeling about the arabesques and the T-shirt strip as we calm things down with tai chi and Fleetwood Mac.
Functional strength tracks focus sequentially on balance and leg strength, upper body strength and hips strengthening, before Christina Aguilera and friends and Simply Red take the stage to take us through the remaining core work. Finally, we get to "release and restore" with the Moody Blues' dream rock classic Nights in White Satin.

BODYVIVE™ 2 Everyone sings in the shower but it doesn’t get you fit. With BODYVIVE™ you get great sing-along songs and a workout to boot. OK, so the singing’s not compulsory – hey, not everyone’s a karaoke star. But you’ll be humming hard and smiling wide when you connect with some of the greatest rockers from way back when in BODYVIVE™ 2. BODYVIVE™ 1 set the pace with the Bee Gees, Roy Orbison, Neil Diamond et al. Now we’re moving, grooving and working up a sweat with The Doobie Brothers, Meatloaf, Dire Straits and Lulu – to name just a few. The Doobies get the class underway with Listen to the Music and Cher follows up for the Connect and Go. Engelbert Humperdink wraps up the first Heart Fitness block with his timeless Quando, Quando, Quando. Members hook up to some Meat Loaf power for strength and balance training with the VIVE™ ball; then switch to the tube and Reach Out – I’ll Be There. Boney M and Aretha raise the tempo for full-on cardio action in mid-class and the Detroit Spinners keep the focus sharp for nailing the strength work challenge with Working My Way Back to You. Smooth, silky sounds from Dire Straits and the Beach Boys introduce the final block and the class winds up with the hugely uplifting sounds of Lulu’s To Sir With Love and The Righteous Brothers’ climactic Unchained Melody. A great finale for another great class!

Welcome to BODYVIVE. Our new program is set to take its place alongside the other LES MILLS programs as a fitness phenomenon with incredible participant appeal. Pre-launch classes have shown that BODYVIVE offers a distinctive take on the addictive 'exertainment' experience that has popularized our programs throughout the world. Now it's time to bring BODYVIVE experience to life on a global scale - with a debut class that will leave members fizzing with energy and hungry for more. Who better to get the party started than the Bee Gees (were you at that concert in '75?) And who better to get the heart rate pumping than the 'Big O' himself? Oh Pretty Woman was ranked one of the top songs in our trial classes. The hits keep coming through our first Functional Strength block and members mingle in an interactive Heart Fitness track to the huge bring-back sound of Woman In Love. Earth Wind and Fire's Let's Groove energizes the upper body workout; then cue Sting to introduce the core and restorative work with his dreamy Fields of Gold. The class winds up with the moving Time To Say Goodbye from Sarah Brighman, as members reflect on a job well done and look forward to their next BODYVIVE session.
