BODYSTEP® 88 - 2012

BODYSTEP® 88 is THE perfect mix of Athleticism and Flava. Want stronger legs? The first half of the class is gutsy with the Scissor Combo in Track 4, the Plyometric Combo in Track 5, the Power Jumps in Track 6 and the 6 Pulse Squat Sequence in Track 7. The legs definitely get a WICKED workout, not forgetting the cardio work as well.

The Flava tracks are 1, 3 and 8… FLAVA kicks in right from the start with Track 1's Boogie Tonight… a fun, singalong track to get everyone smiling, warm and in the MOOD to step! Check out the optional 'Boogie Arms' or do your own boogie arms. More flava in Track 3 with the Gallop, and the relaxed feel of the 3 Single Knee Combo. Track 8 is all about FIERCE attitude. Check out and WORK the La Squeesha Snap.

You’ll love it! The Track 9 Speed Step is a little more relaxed… just chill and move freely to the beat of the music. Then Track 10 pushes the boundaries… nailing the cardio component of this release. Go for maximum HEIGHT and depth in the NEW MOVE – the Leap Of Faith, or pull back with the lighter Skater option.

One of the most common injuries in BODYSTEP® is calf strain, so Track 11 provides great preventative training as we strengthen the calves to avoid strains from happening in future classes. The Athletic Circuit track is back and as intense as ever.

Feature move = SPEED TAP… will you be able to keep up?!

BODYSTEP® 86
- 2011

Get Ready 2 Go with BODYSTEP® 86, starting with a solid Warmup that will get your body prepared for the roller coaster it will be on during this release. It’s an intensely athletic release that will give great results but, in true BODYSTEP® style, we’ve kept the moves and the music fun, so you keep on smiling from start to finish. Just when you think Step Athletic Track 4 has reached its Determinate end, we’ve thrown in a surprise Half Burpee! The return of this high-intensity move will spike your heart rate and get everyone ready for the massive Shuffle combos of Track 5. It’s full-on Party Rock Anthem time in this Mixed Strength track as we let your legs breathe and send your heart rate into space. This is a deceptively fun track that will trick you into forgetting how much you’re actually moving! The surprises keep coming in Track 6 with the introduction of the Propulsive Lunge that sees you and your heart rate Rise Up just when you think you’re slowing down. This move will really push you in the last 30 seconds and your heart rate will peak, but recovery follows - so go hard and get results! Party Step Track 8 will make you feel as though you Run The World with the debut of the Running Girl move; it’s similar to the Running Man but it’s more Skater-like, a touch classy and equally as cool. We’ve brought back the weight option in Track 10, with moves to work the legs and again get your heart pumping. Use a 5 or 10kg plate for this track; they’re not Poison - they help you reach a training spike! Because you loved the new Athletic track debuted in Release 85, we’ve included the option again; you can use it in place of Tracks 8 and 9 to give the class another dose of high-intensity interval training. The concept’s the same with this Athletic track: 45 seconds of intense work, then 30 seconds of rest. Rinse and repeat six times. Good luck!

BODYSTEP® 84
- 2011

If you’re after a BODYSTEP® workout like no other… here it is! Designed to spike the heart rate, shock the body and get you fitter faster, BODYSTEP® 84 is a 55 minute cross training extravaganza that will get your heart pumping from the word go. Launching straight into the party with the sing-a-long sounds of Getting Over You and Start Without You you’ll get thoroughly warm before stepping inside a 1990s nightclub for a heart-rate rising Track 3. Next up the unadulterated athletic training of Track 4 combines the Boxers Pulse and Burpees (the ultimate cross training exercise) and seriously ups the intensity - so attack it with a whole heap of “GRRRRRR” The mixed strength combo of Track 5 will bring the heart rate down a little, but that doesn’t mean you lose the party feeling - there’s plenty of opportunity to get your arms up high and get those fists pumping! Following the intense blood shunting cardio in the power peak and the quad and glute work during Track 7, it’s time to pick up your drumsticks and party on to the catchy sounds of Drummer Boy. And then things get a little mischievous as you up the pace for a cheeky speed step number set to Hanky Panky. As the intensity hits an all time high, you launch into a power peak with a difference! This means embracing the pulsating beats of Rockstar 101 as you use the step for some intense cardio work - and then grabbing a weight to spike the heart rate and take the workout to a whole new level!

BODYSTEP® 82
- 2011

BODYSTEP® 82 is a thriller of a release that features an unlucky 13 tracks that will do wonderfully tortuous things to your body. Just listen to the lyrics in the warm-up they say it all “You cannot run – you cannot hide…” As Thriller plays you’ll kick off with ghoulish Hip Hop Extensions and Thriller arms before working your way around the step and heading into the first cardio peak – set to the driving beat of Broken Heels. The Addams Groove provides a suitably kooky soundtrack to get down to as you work your legs and gluteus with some challenging Drop and Jump you’ll get to sing along to Knock on Wood. Things wrap up with some seriously bionic squats during the final cardio peak. It’s here when you find out whether you are a mere mortal or a machine – so dig your heels in, fire your gluteus and give it everything you’ve got

Get ready to rock with BODYSTEP™ 75! With Rock music, attitude, strength and energy, you'll be ready to crowd–surf by the end of the release. There's something for everybody – great oomph and strong bass beats to motivate you through the athletic tracks and you'll have fun with the party and flava tracks. A 'World' theme also runs through some of the songs, reminding you that people all over the world are getting into BODYSTEP™! This theme kicks off in the Warmup when the lyrics of Can You Feel It talk about the different cities around the world, as well as energy, power and passion. What a way to start the workout! Classic Rock song Walk This Way introduces flava into Track 3 as you Power March around the step with attitude and increase the intensity with bigger moves, before you free your mind in the Propulsive Leg Extension & Jog Combo in Track 4. Despite what the Rolling Stones say, you'll definitely be feeling satisfaction with your luscious legs and beautiful butts after doing Track 5 with the Traveling Squat Tap and the Squat Tap, Knee & Reverse Basic Step Combo. Be the wild–child Rock groupie cheering on your favorite rock star in Track 6. You'll be pumping your fist in the air to Carla Cross' Start All Over, before getting some cardio recovery and great–looking legs in Track 7. Loads of Repeaters mean you really feel the burn! BODYSTEP® 74 - 2009

NEW RELEASE - BOOM SHAKE THE ROOM! Speed Racers take your marks, get ready, GO! You’ll zoom through BODYSTEP® 74 with some hot new moves, cool new sounds and plenty of tough lower body work to really rev your engine! There’s a new move in Track 4 — the ‘revolving door’. This has the same footwork as a basic step but you rotate around the step. Track 5 really works the legs and butt with lots of jumping on top of the step to the old-school sounds of Boom! Shake The Room. Move with control and let the music speak in Track 6 which is a simple, athletic track that really makes you want to drive like a maniac! You’ll be able to use the sounds of the cars racing and the speed racer story to excite and motivate your class to work hard. The lyrics “Go speed go” will drive your participants to their personal best. The two combinations in Track 8 — chassé around the step and swivel combo — will keep you on your toes before powering into the speed step. Listen for speed racer making a surprising return at the end of Track 10 to race you to the finish line! Look for a fresh way to challenge your butt and core in Track 11 with three new moves — the hip opener combo, the heel drop and the oblique reach! And you’re going to love our bonus Christmas track which will definitely spread some festive cheer to your BODYSTEP® participants.

BODYSTEP® 73
- 2008
Get ready for an awesome stepping workout with BODYSTEP® 73. There's a great mix of infectious music that'll get your class moving, singing and sweating. You'll feel all the benefits of strong stepping in this release. The feedback from trial classes was that it definitely delivers on the promise of a great cardio and butt and thigh workout.

The real essence of BODYSTEP® is strongly reflected in a great playlist and, of course, the athleticism of the workout. The highlights just keep coming – from the fun Bootylicious Warmup through to the physical and emotional high you get as you hit the first peak in Track 4, using high or low-impact options.

There's nothing like a screaming diva track to get everyone feeling liberated and working hard, and Queen Of The Night is no exception. Believe me, this song will make you just want to leap and bound to new heights. Watch out for the Mixed Strength Track with The Hitman.

This is a tough track that works the lower body and keeps the cardio rate elevated at the same time. And check out the Nutcracker in the Power Peak Track. It's a great power move which feels strong in this grunty Rock classic, We're Not Gonna To Take It. Use this track to challenge your cardio fitness and improve your hip strength with the lateral training. There's a huge variety in the music and moves to come and you'll finish with a smile on your dial!

Calling all you boy and girl racers, all mamas and those of you who like to be footloose and fancy-free – BODYSTEP® 72 is a release for you! It’s an athletically challenging workout that experienced steppers will love. New steppers have plenty of options and will be hooked instantly! There are three themes in this release. There’s a reference to Mama in Tracks 1 – I Got It From My Mama, 2 – Mama and 7 – Like This Like That. It’s a great opportunity to celebrate all you mamas out there! The footloose theme runs through Track 8 – Footwurkin’ and Track 9 – the popular Footloose. Make sure you bust out your best Kevin Bacon move from the film of the same name. Fast cars are the third theme, with references to cars or driving in Tracks 4 – Crash, 6 – Shut Up & Drive and 10 – Flirt. You’ll hear car doors slamming, tires screeching and engines revving throughout the class. Another musical highlight is Vogue. You’ll be able to move with vogue attitude in the Tap Downs after working your legs and glutes in the feature move, the Jump Squat. Look forward to the return of the Funky Twist, the 2-Knee Repeater & Jack Combo and the new Aeroplane balance move which improves balance and stability.

BODYSTEP® 71
- 2008

BODYSTEP® 71 is a hot release inspired by a dance theme while still being an athletic workout. Musical contrast is a big feature with something for everyone! The mix includes Modern Rock, 90s' Rap, Hip Hop, Top 10 Pop, R'n'B and even Heavy Metal. It's a high-energy, results-orientated workout with dance-inspired flavor injected to some familiar BODYSTEP® moves. New move the Running Woman in Track 5 is teamed with super cool track Rok Da House. Hip Hop is in 'da house' again in Track 7 - you'll get to break out the Running Man this time to Run DMC. Get ready to rock in Track 6 with Ozzy Osbourne - the powerful song and lyrics will help the class reach their second peak. Here, advanced steppers are treated to a new move, the L-Split Shuffle Combo. Track 8 is a real highlight and also mentally challenging as four moves are combined to make up the Dance Floor Combo! By the end of the track you'll be able to let loose and have fun. The Speed Step is all about tequila but you'll need your wits about you for the Swirl Knee & Run Around Combo. Get ready to bust out your best 'Thriller Arms' during Track 11 and load that step up with three risers for lunging if you're game.

BODYSTEP® 70
- 2007

BODYSTEP™ is celebrating its 70th release - that's 17 and a half years of stepping! To mark the 70th class, we've got a retro 70s theme going on. You'll really notice this when you hit Tracks 5, 7 and 11 which feature simple, functional moves that strengthen, tone and really work the lower body. There's a new move in Track 5. It's called the Half Stomp and Side Leg Lift Combo. It's great for activating the glutes and hip stablisers in the Side Leg Lift and the constant load in the legs really makes the quads work. Watch out for the new move in Track 10 - the Spinner Repeater, an option for advanced Steppers. Get your groove on and have fun celebrating BODYSTEP™ 70!

BODYSTEP® 69
- 2007

Get ready to reach new heights in BODYSTEP® 69. It's simple, strong and athletic and a perfect class for hooking newcomers into the program. The music is bright and colourful, with something for everyone and there's a big focus on lateral movement for strengthening the hips, legs and heart. The warm up track Are You Ready is a great song to get things starte.d It's an uplifting sound with upbeat lyrics to get the members quickly into the BODYSTEP® groove. Sing along to Everyone's A Winner as we move around the step in track 3. The guitar instrumentals combined with the gallop move are a highlight and get the class into overdrive. The energy kicks in from the first beat. Feel the burn as the legs are worked and the butt sculpted to Fergalicious in track 5. There are lots of side to side moves to fire up the muscles. Then we jump into our power peak track and train laterally to the song Jump. Check out the new "running man" move in track 7. Appropriately, the song is MC Hammer's Too Legit To Quit and the 'hip hop' style provides a great, fresh feel. Have fun with our most requested song Candyman for the speed step track and then rock it to the final peak with Keep Your Hands Off My Girl. The main move in the conditioning track is the push up, side tap combo. It's great for upper body and core strength. 'Turn It Up' with BODYSTEP® - the workout that makes your feel alive! The BODYSTEP education session identifies and teaches the highlights and objectives of the new class.

BODYSTEP® 68
- 2007
This release opens with the OneZeroOne hit, New Sensation, and that's just what steppers will feel as they hook into the smoothly flowing choreo and a playlist to suit all tastes. There are a lot of opportunities to let loose and have fun with the uplifting music - but there's a big workout factor to match, so be prepared! The tougher tracks have three levels of intensity to suit everyone from the novice to the super-fit. Mark and Lisa have had great feedback on the changed step orientation introduced in BODYSTEP® 66 and they've brought it back again for the new release. As well as keeping the step class fresh, this also gives instructors the opportunity to mix and match tracks from releases that have the same step orientation. There's definitely a tougher leg-focused workout in the new release and steppers will feel this in Track 2 with the Tap Downs, Track 4 with the freeze knees, Track 5 with the leg-focused moves and Track 6 with the Easy Walks and Jump Squats. There's also plenty of opportunity for "Work and Play" in Tracks 3 with the Repeater and Walk Around Combo, Track 5 with the breakdancing feel of the track, track 7 with the Knee Lift and March Combo and Track 8 with the Strut Combo and the Mambo Chasse. Musically, there's something for everyone in BODYSTEP® 68. Highlights include Queen's Another One Bites The Dust, Sheena Easton's Strut, Justin Timberlake's My Love and Beyonce's Deja Vu - to name just a few.

BODYSTEP® 67
- 2007

There's something for everyone in this great new release- from standard BODYSTEP moves to fun innovations like 'stability swirls' and a recurring theme of cha cha cha. Steppers will also love the mix of rock classics and current chart toppers.

A major focus was on providing extended chereo to allow steppers to 'see the move', 'feel the move' and then really 'work the move'. Members get that chance from the get go, with a Buckwild remake of the Pat Benatar hit making sure that everyone is All Fired Up and Jessica Simpson kicking in with her feel good, chart topping A Public Affair.

We nod to the Aussies with Down Under in the Step Orientation and lift the pace with Wild Women Do in the step athletic. Then the focus is on working the legs and the cardio in the Mixed strength track. Hip to Be Square sets up a great stepping theme to take up to the Power Peak and then we bring on the new stability swirl to work the hips and butt and to train balance and stability.

Party Playaz get the Party step rocking with Don't You Know and there is a chance to test your dancing skills with a variety of cha cha steps in the speed step. No frills rock and roll powers up the second peak with Do We Rock and we wind up another great class with Yello and Beyonce.

BODYSTEP® 66
2006

Changing the orientation of the step platform creates a huge scope for new choreography in the new class and Mark and Lisa have taken full advantage of the new innovation. This release is full of novelty, while retaining all the energy and athleticism that steppers demand. Members will get a real buzz of anticipation then they start the new class with a cue to turn the step the "long" way round. The stepping has a new feel but it's quickly mastered with good coaching and the upbeat rhythm of a great AC/DC cover song to set the mood. No new moves in tracks 2 or 3 but lots of great stepping through the step warm-up to the Kelly Clarkson chart-topper, Walk Away, and the Step Orientation with Hitchin'A Ride. Steppers hit their first peak in track four with the ultra-energetic I've Got the Music In Me, then return the bench to the horizontal position for the rest of the class. The challenge for the next track is to get low in the legs for the new half-stomp and skater knee combo. Time to get vocal with a remake of Def Leppard in the second peak - singers will shout the house down here - then drop back for some active recovery with Christina. There's jazz feel in the side tap and chance for performers to strut their stuff. Enjoy the pivot turn in the Party Step and then check out the new speed T stomp. You can really boost your cardio output here while having fun with Love is a Contact Sport. Track 10 will leave you shattered but on a huge fitness "high" - just what you need to tackle the new walking plank move in the fully optioned conditioning track.

There's a bit of a rock feel to the new class, with songs from the 80s right through to the current top 40. The opening track gets you hooked from the start. You'll feel like a pop star walking the red carpet as you Warm up with the Rhythm Twins' When Will I Be Famous. Strong armlines and the return of the Rocker are important features of the step warm-up; then rev it up and really get moving to the KopyKatz high octane remake of the Cars classic Just What I Needed. The highlights keep on coming with Southern Light's Be Good Johnny for the power peak and watch out for the new back tap and lift combo in the step recovery that's guaranteed to tone and shape the glutes. The music is Dirrty! Class members will love the combative flavour of the jabs and knee lifts in the third power peak - they won't realise how hard they've been working until they hit the finale pose at the end.
