CURRENT RELEASE BODYBALANCE® 73

BODYBALANCE® is a Group Fitness Program that will change the way you feel about your body forever. BODYBALANCE ® combines traditional Eastern disciplines with new dynamic techniques. It is designed to make you feel longer and stronger, reduce pain and relieve stress. BODYBALANCE® simply makes you feel better. BODYBALANCE® is often described as a journey, not a destination. It is an opportunity to get to know your body and help it perform better and more harmoniously. Typically, classes contain general warm ups, followed by sections with specific goals and target areas. For example, back and abdominal tracks will improve the strength of your mid-section (and makes your waist smaller), strength sections will target the legs and upper body and flexibility sections will focus on all of our “WORK PLACE” problem areas like the neck and lower back. The class ends with a well-deserved relaxation section. We promise that you leave the class relaxed, rejuvenated and ready to face the world!

THE LAST THING ON MY MIND

SIZZLER

Hi there teachers!

Welcome to our new class. We have some wonderful new moves to extend and challenge us and our class members, as well as some beautiful music to enhance our experience.

We start with a remake of Here With Me. The smooth, sensual Dido feel is perfect for Tai Chi. Then feel the intensity and power of the amazing Latin chant Ameno just flow through your body as you warm and energise in the sun salutation.

Anita's all-time favourite Balance track is focused, yet strong, and I am so All For Believing. What a beautiful song from Missy Higgins.

Adding a simple side bend into hip openers will have a profound effect on your flexibility. Enjoy!

I went somewhere different in Track 6. George Michael's Round Here is a cruisy, modern feeling, so just flow more into the move. Remember to set up each position well to get maximum benefit.

The physical workout holds on until the end of this class. Down dog twist becomes addictive after a while and the energy of Snow Patrol's Run really calls for a standing split!

The title of our Relaxation/Meditation is Benediction; A Mass For Peace - my sentiments exactly.

So: BODYBALANCE® regularly, smile soulfully and love interestingly; make our world a better place.

Bisous

Jackie x

FEELING GOOD

SIZZLER

Hi teachers

This release shows the wonderful places we can go with the tracks while staying within the established structure of the programme.

The new class will provide a great introduction to BODYBALANCE for new participants and yet have a real fresh new feel for regulars. I think the key feature this time is the huge diversity in the music. It gives us the freedom to deliver a really memorable BODYBALANCE experience.

Our warm-up sets up the class with a series of Tai Chi moves that bring everyone into the moment - you can't think of anything else, so it really focuses us for the rest of the class.

The Celtic violin in Sinead O'Connor's Release brings an almost primal feel to the sun salutations and an indication of a really special class to come. The next innovation is revolved triangle pose in the standing strength track. This is a more advanced yoga move but very "doable" given the focus our participants have achieved by this stage - it's also fully optioned.

The next track is all about the song - the simple balance sequence enables us to become immersed in the divine lyrics of Moby's Love Should.

Jessica Simpson's Take My Breath Away also has a warm and open feel. My friend Fabio Abrantes from Portugal says he "just feels love" by this stage of the class.

The core section is about strength and challenge and an absolute contrast with the previous tracks. We've gone somewhere really different musically with Track 8. Nina Simone's Feeling Good is just exquisite.

Tai Chi from Track 1 repeats in the hamstrings track, just as so many of you have requested.

Then the scripting is all-important for our relaxation. Together with some beautiful music, it will take our participants to a profound stillness and the end of this magic class.

Jackie

ENDLESS DREAM

SIZZLER

Holding some poses for a longer time gives this new class a really different feel. It also has a special focus on hip openers and hamstrings.

As instructors we can take time to teach to a higher level of technique, enabling our class members to get a deeper experience of the workout. Also, by teaching a calm steady eye gaze and focusing on their breathing, class members will be able to hold the poses more comfortably and thus gain benefit to their strength and flexibility.

The result is a very rewarding experience and an intense feeling of serenity.

Our t'ai chi warm-up provides one of the real highlights, with two new t'ai chi moves that flow beautifully to the sound of Sting, Taking the Inside Rail.

Standing strength is another standout track where we hold and extend the poses. Sink deeply into the challenge and find some motivation from Seal's take on the great classic, Walk On By!

I would also nominate the new track nine for special mention. We bring back the t'ai chi from the warm-up which promotes a meditative quality alongside long held poses and an amazing remake of Center of the Sun, from Conjure One.

I just love this class.

EVERYBODY'S CHANGING

SIZZLER

This class has a different feel right from the start. New moves and flavours produce a class that's energetic and challenging but also full of the joy and satisfaction of Les Mills' unique mind/body experience. Teachers and members will love exploring the diversity and richness of the new release every time they take this class. Conjure One provides some intriguing, otherworldly sounds for the t'ai chi warm-up with their inspiring Pilgrimage, before we strengthen and lengthen through the sun salutations. BODYBALANCE then moves to a different place, with Beautiful from Moby inspiring a little more energy and action than usual with its rock-like feel. UK saxophonist Joolz Gianni contributes a great calming sound to the Stranger in Paradise theme in the balance track and we have introduced an interesting new move in the hip openers. Participants work deep into the core with Primal Scream and work through some new leg extensions with veteran rockers Santana. Especially satisfying for many will be the meditation and relaxation track. Time here to reflect on a great workout and a balanced approach to life.

ANYTHING BUT STRONG

SIZZLER

Immersing yourself in the t'ai chi feel provides a great foundation for the physical demands to follow. Shivaree's Goodnight Moon brings an almost quirky feel to the sun salutations, with the longest ever BODYBALANCE® track to follow in the form of God's Top Ten, from INXS. Many participants have rated this the highlight of the class. Slow, controlled moves are used to work the deep and superficial abdominals in track 6, with a new Dolphin pose among the moves mobilising the shoulders - and promoting great posture - in track number 7. The return of t'ai chi for the twists is a pleasing BODYBALANCE® innovation and watch out for the new moves in track 9. Stretching the inner and outer thighs as well as the hamstrings is a sting in the tail. Beautiful songs from Daniel Otsuka and Stephen Rhodes round out the class with a rewarding period of relaxation, peace and focus.

BREATHE ME

SIZZLER

Continuous flow from track to track is the key to this class. Jackie has introduced a new feel to the t’ai chi warm-up, using a Wu form that is closer to martial arts. The slicing and blocking moves are simple, strong and expressive, leaving members fully zoned into class by the end of track two. Winter in July and Wild Butterfly are two fabulous songs to carry the opening stages of the class. Fully engaged by now, members work hard through the standing strength track to the empowering The River, from Live. BODYBALANCE® 35 goes back to basics for the core work (at your request!) – the simple moves recruit and strengthen the target muscles as the core work peaks with the hugely inspirational song, You Got The Love. The class concludes with 11 minutes of relaxation and meditation and feelings of serenity and calm for all.

RIVERS RUN DEEP

SIZZLER

The flow is seamless from start to finish and the music is as good as it gets in a new class. It builds on the flowing nature of other, recent releases, where members have the time to go deep into the moves, find their breath and focus on the moment. The warm–up happens to the beautiful 7 Seconds from Youssou N'Dour and Neneh Cherry, with Conjure One's Face the Music to follow for the sun salutations. Then make the most of the fantastic new hip stretch to the pop–rock hit song, Chasing Cars, from Snow Patrol. Track 7 is a complete back and core workout and an undoubted class highlight, with plenty of options and interest in the moves and great music in the form of INXS's Afterglow. Big twists come with the big, warm sound of Hurt, from Christina Aguilera and we revisit t'ai chi in track 9, ahead of Relaxation and Meditation with Rivers Run Deep and Stuart Jones's soothing, inspirational Together in Love.

LIGHT SUROUNDING YOU

SIZZLER

Extra songs provide a musical bonus in tracks 3 and 9 but also extend the workout in a class that's at once challenging and athletic but also deeply calming and restorative. Strong contrast in the music adds further to the richness of the experience, concluding with the profoundly calming "psycho-acoustics" of pioneering mind-body therapist Andrew Weil MD. The new class starts with a traditional t'ai chi warm-up to quickly dispatch the cares of the day. The blocks, swings, wraps and reaches bring the breathing into focus and anticipate the workout to come. Sun salutations are expansive and expressive in this release, with big lunges promoting an extra stretch in the hips, chest and shoulders. Then Heather Small and Evanescence provide powerful music to help us through the standing strength with determination - and a little attitude to boot. The balance track is calm and still, with a chance to have some fun with the Tree Pose challenge. Then we take time to stretch through the hips and allow the stiff muscles around the joints to relax before taking the work to the abdominals and mid-back for stability and posture. Members will love powering up their Stand Split Pose with an exquisite James Morrison song in the Forward Folds and stretching deeply with Paul Schwartz in the second part of the track. The final meditation to follow is rewarding and serene.

ONE OF THESE MORNINGS

SIZZLER

This class takes the program to a different space. It has intense stillness, great focus and power and a rich new combination of moves and poses. A different feel in the tai chi warm-up sets the tine for the new release. A stroking move in the arms and shoulders relaxes and connects you to your body. Nonpoints cover of Phil Collins classic "In the Air Tonight" energies your body and breath. It features "the tigers mouth" hand position for building strength in the arms. Two pieces of music used for balances; Evanescence Lithium and India Aries Ready for Love are quiet different but give a different combination of strength and calm. A beautiful new pose stretches the front leg and hip while strengthening the butt and back. Pilate's is at its Group Fitness best in track 6. Through the core work the focus is to move slowly. This means that we can build strength and tone safely and it feels wonderful. There are two songs for the twists: the classic Ill Stand by You that gives us the opportunity to stand tall in each twist pose and Shadow Feet by popular Kiwi artist Brooke Fraser. This track combines twists and forward folds for a ver harmonious feel. The final song Hide and Seek definitely becomes a musical highlight and the exciting new Marichi Pose makes its debut. Open your mind to experience BODYBALANCE® 38 and your body will feel very balanced

BREATHE

SIZZLER

This release starts from a different dynamic with the mat placed lengthwise down the room. The focus is on warming and mobilizing shoulders and legs in a music and movement combination that feels incredible. Smooth, hip sounds from Groove Armada accompany the smooth combo move of 3-Legged Dog to Knee to Chest Pose in Track 2. This is followed by a track based on Warrior 2. Here we deepen into better alignment and feel the benefits of both strength and flexibility gains. Special thanks to those who suggested the song Breathe in Track 4. This creates a beautiful template for the balance poses. The music and lyrics of John Legend's Show Me provide a quiet focus with lots of options to deepen the stretches through into Track 6 which furthers the theme of slow Pilate's moves to build optimal strength and tone to midsections. The Compass Pose makes its debut in Track 8. This stretches our inner thighs and twists out our spines. You will discover how fun and achievable it is to bring your leg behind your shoulder! Sounds of orchestra, choir and soulful harmonies are perfect to stretch deeply and to quieter into in Track 9. A new option here is the Splits Pose, which is a superb leg stretch. The stillness of Immerstress 2 by Andre Garceau and Bruno Lachini allow for deep relaxation or meditation, whichever you choose. The class finishes in a truly restful, restorative way with the contemplative notes of Russell Walders' The Breathing of the World.

LIFT ME UP

SIZZLER

You'll relax into the familiar sound of My Friend for the simple Tai Chi Warmup in BODYBALANCE 40. A mesmerizing Sun Salutations Track follows which enhances a breath and movement connection. Joss Stone provides a smooth and sensual accompaniment for the Standing Strength Track. At 8 minutes there's plenty of time during this song to breathe and lengthen.Track 4 is very graceful and tranquil but challenging with the new position, Twisting Star Pose, evolving into a series of twisting balances. Linger is the name of Track 5 and that's exactly what we do, with new options to deepen into the stretches. There are two Core Abdominal Tracks in this release - the first is Pilates based and lots of fun! The second is an instrumental version of Kanye West's Stronger. The only words are "harder, better, faster, STRONGER" - gutsy, motivating lyrics to match the moves. The Core Back Track is Yoga based and has a new feeling, using breath to elevate back strength when moving in Cobra Pose and Bow Pose. There are also two Twist Tracks. The first uplifting and the second, quiet and seated, bringing the focus of the class down before the release highlight, Track 9. Des'ree's I'm Kissing You is such a beautiful, internal, emotional song that it simply had to be heard in this class again!

SECRET INSIGHTS

SIZZLER

BODYBALANCE® 41 is an innovative release. The Tai Chi Warmup is expressive anddramaticin both the movements and the music. This carries you into the very different Sun Salutations Track combining an uplifiting Celtic sound, courtesy of Irish folk singer Moya Brennan and an energetically structured Sun Salutation sequence. Reaching new depths early in the class allows you to surrender into the powerfully emotive Tracks 3, 4 and 5. You’ll reach new levels of strength and awareness in the Core Tracks which include the fun new move — The Pilates 100’s. Then settle into a state of peace for the Twists and Forward Bends. The music in this release is truly inspirational. There is a soulful start with Sarah McLachlan’s Silence, you move through a series of expressive poses to Annie Lennox’s deep, heartfelt Dark Road, sing along to Alicia Keys’ popular hit No One and let Moby’s 18 wash over you as you flow smoothly from one pose to another. The class finishes with Presence from Ty Burhoe’s incredible CD ‘Invocation’.

DON'T LET GO

SIZZLER

Simple The Tai Chi track has only two moves, allowing us to sink deeply into our breathing, and immerse ourselves in the simplicity of Coldplay’s Lost. Strong Transiting through the playfulness of the sun salutations to standing strength, the focus shifts to power, culminating in the challenging bent knee floating half moon pose accompanied by the uplifting Mary J. Blige song, Come To Me [Peace]. Emotive Prepare for drama as The Red Jumpsuit Apparatus’ soft rock hit, Your Guardian Angel soars through the balance track. This unites with the angel sequence to challenge and uplift us. Deep Invite members to extend into the intense quad/abductor stretch, increasing hip mobility and potentially improving knee alignment, before releasing into a delicious, extended happy baby pose which does magic for the hips. Wicked Plenty of options are needed in the wickedly tough core tracks, overflowing with kooky innovations like commando crawls and plank pose pullbacks. Warning — these moves will transform your body! Return Sheryl Crow’s Always On Your Side is back by popular demand, this time in a duet with Sting, to gently twist us free and begin the glorious descent into forward folds and meditationl

THE HEART OF THE MATTER

SIZZLER

BODYBALANCE® 44 is both physically challenging and mentally engrossing, providing you with a truly internal experience that has plenty of options.Linger in the strong, beautiful movements of Track 1 with the Sword Dance–inspired choreography. Conjure One's stunning song Make A Wish allows you to leaveyour day behind and really center yourself. Sting's Desert Rose provides the inspiration needed to master the new move in Track 2 – the Striking Cobra. There's a big workout and big emotion in Track 3 to a big song – India Arie's The Heart Of The Matter. Your inner strength empowers your legs as you move through three sequences and learn three new poses. Amy Winehouse's Valerie provides the time needed to chill out and catch your breath before you get to up the ante in Track 6 with a short sting of core abdominals. Moby's Disco Lies offers different musical inspiration to what you'd expect in a BODYBALANCE® class. The hip remix of Nina Simone's The Look Of Love in Track 7 will have you singing along, before moving into Track 8 which starts quietly with a new pose – the Bent Knee Twist. This is very relaxed so you can breathe and warm your spine with a gentle twist. You'll love the long–held Half Forward Fold in Track 9 and the expression of opening to the Side Bend – soft then strong. There's plenty of time to progressively deepen into each pose before you relax to Kate Voegele's Lift Me Up.

YOU MAKE IT REAL AND LOOK NO FURTHER ITS AMAZING AT AN ENDING!

SIZZLER

The focus in BODYBALANCE® 45 is on breathing and letting go. There are plenty of options to enable you to really enjoy the class and experience it with your mind and body. You’ll love the fresh, new music which includes Jem, O.A.R., Pink and Dido. You’ll feel like you’re doing Tai Chi in the park in the warmup to Moby’s Hyenas. We set up the leg pattern in the first sequence then add in fluid, relaxed arm movements.

Track 2 is a little different with the first two Salutations like warmups with a simple flow before progressing – rising into Warrior 1. The challenge in Track 3 is to use only the muscles you really need. The drama comes during the chorus of Snow Patrol’s Crack The Shutters when you rise to Sun Warrior. Evolve further into your posses – the Aeroplane, Eagle Pose and Star Pose – in Track 4, before focusing on the best alignment to maximise flexibility in Track 5.

A long Frog Pose finishes the track. We use PNF stretching which is a combination of passive stretching and isometric contractions designed to increase flexibility more rapidly. Track 6 is fun! There’s a great sequence of Pilates moves which will ensure your core gets a tough workout. Look forward to new move the Seesaw in Track 7 which strengthens the muscles that stop you slouching. Twisting to James Morrison’s You Make It Real and Beyoncé’s Ave Maria is a real treat – look out for the new extension in our Lunge Twist.

To finish the class, your body is relaxed from the outside inwards, then energy is restored with breath from the inside out.

SIZZLER BODYBALANCE - ® 46 - Lost and Found

BODYBALANCE® is dramatic and challenging. Push your limits, because you never know exactly what you are capable of until you try. The options are there if you need them! Focus on your breathing in the warm-up track, then challenge yourself to lift off in the Knee to High Block Combination. You will feel like you are surfing in Track 2, feeling the flow of Yoga poses. Also featuring a one minute Down Dog, feel this quintessential yoga pose! Magnificent takes you through Track 3. There’s a new move – the Extended Warrior 2 with Prayer hands and lots of powerful drama. Find your balance to Shine in Track 4. This is a very challenging track, but there are lots of options available. Why? Because it feels amazing to sink into each hip opening pose accompanied by this gorgeous Annie Lennox classic. Take your abdominal strength to a whole new level in Track 6, before working on your strength, support and stability to Broken Strings in Track 7. You will really build strength in the Plank Pose Pullbacks. For something new try pushing off your back foot and bringing your weight forward in the Lunge Twist in Track 8. It feels great! Leona Lewis draws you into a beautiful, very deep hamstring stretch with Run. Then relax into Deuters Kindred Spirit, as you become aware of steadying the outside edge of your body and focusing specifically on your breathing.

Don’t let the soft and flowing nature of BODYBALANCE® 47 fool you – this is one of the most challenging releases ever created. Warm up with a series of simple, traditional Tai Chi exercises. The exercises are laid out in an evolving progression, making it easy for your class participants to master the moves. You will be challenged in the Sun Salutations Track. The new innovation is the 3-Legged Dog, shifting to Plank Pose and then sinking into Crocodile Pose. Find grace and make the movements feel beautiful in Track 4. SIZZLER BODYBALANCE - ® 48 - I JUST TELL MYSELF!

BODYBALANCE® 48 is a journey towards peace. This release will lead you from the epic battle of Ben-Hur, through protest and reflection, and finally into deep understanding and awareness of your body and the world around you. We’ll begin with a sword-dance inspired by the Love Theme From Ben Hur, and then sink more deeply into our breath than we’ve ever gone before in the Sun Salutations Track. SIZZLER BODYBALANCE - ® 50 - A HUNDRED THOUSAND ANGLES

BODYBALANCE® is turning 50 and it's never been better with a sublime blend of music and choreography that takes you deep into the Yoga experience. Sade warms things up in Track 1 as we ease through a series of simple moves to the deep tribal feel of Soldier Of Love. Standing Strength will have you stretching to new limits with a reworked expression of the Warrior 1 stretch – the Lateral Bend. Fortunately, old favorites The Script are on hand to help make anything seem possible with their track Breakeven. We're joining the stars of "Avatar" for Track 4 and it's not just Leona Lewis' uplifting song I See You that's courtesy of the award-winning movie. Jackie Mills has also played with the themes, and references the story of the Navi in the choreography. Track 4 introduces Ujjayi Breathing which is new to BODYBALANCE® but a fundamental practice in Yoga. Imagine your throat narrowing as you use the technique to release stress and calm your body. The two Core Tracks get straight to the point and are focused on what they do best – working the abdominals and back – before Please Don't Stop The Rain leads us into a Down Dog Twist in Track 8. This is an advanced move but give it a try. The feeling you get when you master this is incredible – you're grounded on one arm and get a beautiful twist through the spine. There's plenty of drama in the Forward Bends – with a dramatic move to match – and then the emotion of The Bliss' track, 100 Thousand Dancers, provides the perfect bridge into the final Relaxation.

Beautiful smooth, fluid movements are the signature of this 51st release form BODYBALANCE®. The transition between moves is almost a important as the poses themselves - you're working but it should all feel very relaxed. The Tai Chi Warm-Up in Track 1 gets things flowing with the aptly-named song Breathe leading you through some lovely big circling sweeps of the arms and body to warm you up slowly. We move into Yoga with Gorecki and the songs slow build provides the perfect backdrop for Sun Salutations immerse yourself into your breath as you rise with the swell of the song though each inhalation and exhalation. SIZZLER BODYBALANCE - ® 52 - DAYLIGHT!

Invite your class to take some time out of their busy days and find a tranquil place in BODYBALANCE® 52. Your Tai Chi Warmup is more energetic and powerful than usual. Taking you into a new sequence of moves sees you paying homage to the Daylight in Sun Salutations, before joyfully opening up your heart to Give Love through Standing Strength. You’ll need to trust yourself during an intense Balance routine. Feel the elegance and extravagance... if your legs are shaking, they’re doing a great job! Pretty soon, you’re heading into an abs track billed as the most challenging in the history of the program, which is saying something, starting with a Pilates Roll Up for mobility and core strength. If that isn’t enough, you’ll soon make the acquaintance of Lola, a move that will severely test your pelvic strength and stability... and have you celebrating with joy when you finally nail it! If you’re happy, why not tell your face  Stretch out those tummy muscles by switching attention to your back, then release with some liberating Twists. Forward Bends start slowly in Gorilla Pose, but build dramatically to an enormous climax and finish beautifully with the Arm Circles you first tried in the Warmup. As the workout winds down, you can take this opportunity to be at your most expressive. But before returning to your real lives, make sure to thank your bodies for allowing you to relax a while and make a promise to yourself to return this way soon.

SIZZLER BODYBALANCE - ® 53 - AMAZING!

BODYBALANCE® 53 is an internal journey and a big workout with limitless possibilities, reflected in a Tai Chi Warm-up track to Redemption Song, a song of freedom that fills you with energy and takes you into the seamless flow and extension of Sun Salutations. Standing Strength offers perhaps the most challenging track of this release and will have your legs burning by the end. Just focus on your breathing, choose to push calmly through the pain and redirect that energy through your finger tips... it’s an Amazing sensation! While My Guitar Gently Weeps is a gorgeous song for a beautiful languid Balance track that encourages you to gain in confidence, knowing that strong legs and steady eyes will get you through. By then, you will have earned your Hip Stretches, so let your tension dissolve away ... This is the calm before the storm. That tempest arrives in the form of back-to-back Core tracks - the first works the abs and features the Iron Cross, just like a gymnast on the rings. Then, on your tummy, imagine you’re a plane ... and then parachuting from one as you strengthen the butt, back and hamstrings. But Stay with us ... Standing Twists invite you to feel the freedom again and let your light shine. You’re on the home stretch now and soon you’ll have a chance to quieten your mind, body and breath ... to feel your life force once again as you collect your mat and head back into the world.

SIZZLER BODYBALANCE - ® 56 - ANGEL!

Welcome to BODYBALANCE® 56. This is truly an experience you will not forget. We have combined big, beautiful songs and simple choreogrpahy to create something magical. We begin with a Tai Chi Warmup that requires full body expression - you will find yourself truly immersed in the music as you follows Corey's expert coaching. Best thing I have ever had accompanies the immensely difficult Track 3 and there will be allot of learning for you to help your members get through. A key word is composure. Someone Like You sets the stage for a magnificent emotive Balance track. Diving forward just feels right here. Dave leads you through a euphoric Track 5. He takes you to the edge of discomfort but always stays in the open space. Two beautiful love songs occupy the core slots and it will take faith, love and a bit of grit to get trough, but it's worth it as the last three tracks are wonderful. Somewhere Only We know leads into Running up that Hill, which flows into Angel - three very different sounds that give you a wonderful twist and stretch, and a journey through even more emotive musical pieces. Remember to connect with the primal heartbeat in Track 9 -let it guide, not over shadow you .

SIZZLER BODYBALANCE - ® 57 - GUARDIAN!

BODYBALANCE ® 57 is a wave of calm to wash your stresses away. You will notice that the music is softer and more internal, and you can use this to your advantage to bring your class to an even deeper level of mind-body connection. The release features some truly amazing tracks Set Fire To The Rain and Whole Lotta Love bring a slightly rocky edge to an otherwise smooth track list.

Choreography is simple and, once again, internal. Features include a powerful Sun Salutation, a gorgeous Balance sequence to Shelter, one of my new favorite songs, and undeniably fun core training that will work your abs and back to the extreme. I hope this release will become one of your favorites, as it is mine.

Enjoy! Jackie!

FEBRUARY 2012

Welcome this round, the release is an interesting one, it is big and bold at times, then soft and internal. It moves form physically challenging, big strength poses through to intuitive long hard stretches that will open you and challenge you even further. To us it speaks to being courageous and explorative taking a chance and expanding your Yoga.

The music is lifting big – powerful songs from the beginning create connection and internality. The music drives you in the direction that each track is supposed to take so go with it is easy to lose yourself throughout the class especially in Tracks 4, 5 and the sublime 6.

This really is a release like no other. So again welcome and enjoy!

BODYBALANCE® 58 - NEXT TO ME!

SIZZLER
MAY 2012

Welcome to BODYBALANCE® 58 To be honest this is one of my favorite releases of all time. I have taken the choreogrpahy in a slightly different direction this time, to suit the differnt music. Don't worry it is very simple and enjoyable. It just comines normal BODYBLANCE moves in New and unique ways.

As always everything comes from the music. And beginning with a mind/body version of Feeling Good in a clear indication of just how different and amazing the music is going to be.

Now glance at track 4 and Somebody That I Liked to Know. This track can be described with only one word quirky. The feel is different from a regular track 4 and the choreography blows that. Try to go with the slightly uncomfortable almost ugly feel of the movements. Trust me it is enjoyable once you get it.

Just what an amazing song.

But track 5 is one of my favorites, Every Little Thing She Does is Magic is apply named. the track is beautiful and uplifting and just a little but magic;. Bring your class with you in the gorgeous flowing journey, I love it.

And the 8/9 combination is like nothing else. Paradise Into Your Song will make you feel for anything life throws at you.

Thank you so much for sharing this fabulous release with me.

Lots of Love.

Jackie

Here is the release you’ve been looking for! We were completely inspired by the music this round, and the release is absolutely gorgeous. Take a deep breath... there is a lot of modern music. But don’t worry – it’s soft, smooth and utterly beautiful. You will get warm unbelievably fast in the Tai Chi track, but then soften down into full relaxed mode in Track 2. Then we build you back up in the two Standing Strength tracks, before finding your ultimate edge in the Balances. Warning: this is a BIG challenge. You may need a little humor in this one :) But Track 5 is possibly the most soulful, internal Hip Opener track we have ever given you – our favorite. We simply couldn’t decide who was to teach it this round... so we both are.

Then the usual intense Core tracks with a wonderful challenge in the Back track, followed by some subtle Twists and the calmest-of-the-calm Forward Folds. Anthony Deyn’s voice is like caramel to melt you down. Enjoy and try to replicate! We hope you love this class like we do – thank you. Love Jackie and Diana

BODYBALANCE 72 is a series of sweet Swedish delights (we filmed in Stockholm, you’ll see).

The music is another release of soft and smooth with some massive hits thrown in to encourage your class to sing along, and to get
stuck in your head while you’re driving.

Our favorites this round would have to be the intense drama of Track 1, the complexity building into mastery of Track 4, and the cool,
fresh-sounding Track 7.

We hope you love this class as much as we loved making it for you.
